Research Fellow, Cognitive Psychology/Cognitive Neuroscience/Transport Studies

NTU-LTA Transport Research Centre (TRC@NTU) is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Fellow.

Job Responsibilities

• Support developments on research in visual perception on glossiness and glare
• Conduct lab experiments, virtual reality simulations and field survey to study glossiness and glare
• Provide both qualitative and quantitative measurements and analysis of the data collected in the above experiments
• Prepare presentations, progress reports and manuscripts
• Develop guidelines for vehicle glare
• Manage part-time student assistants
• Coordinate the research activities with the research team and collaborators

Job Requirements

• Ph.D Degree in Cognitive Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience, or Transport Studies (transportation engineering / transport logistics), or equivalent field (e.g., visual perception)
• Experience in the experimental design involved human subjects
• Prior research experience in visual perception, psychophysics, and surveys
• Strong background in statistical analysis in R, SPSS or SAS
• Programming experience in Matlab with Psychtoolbox, E-prime, Python, and/or C++
• Good English writing and communication skills independently and as a team player
• Good publication records
