Job Description Summary

The Translational and Correlatives Studies Laboratory (TCSL) is accepting applications for Research Specialist A position from qualified individuals seeking to work in fast paced learning environment as a team member of the Molecular Biology group.

The Research Specialist A will record the patients' clinical samples and process them to DNA and RNA, evaluate nucleic acid quality and quantity and biobank this material according to existing SOPs.

He/She will perform Real-Time qPCR testing on cellular products and patients samples.

This position requires careful and precise work in a Good Laboratory Practice type environment, including meticulous documentation of samples and procedures performed under appropriate compliance and regulations.

This position is contingent upon funding.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
