An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme / Team Leader within the Veterinary & Animal Sciences Department of the South & West Faculty of SRUC, based at the Barony Campus near Dumfries. SRUC Barony Campus is set within a working 260 hectare estate, which is situated in the rolling landscape of the beautiful Dumfries and Galloway region in South West Scotland.

The successful applicant will work with the Head of Department and play a key role in developing, growing and managing the delivery of high quality education from FE to degree level in a range of Veterinary Nursing subjects, and with exciting opportunities to play a key role in developing new postgraduate programmes and research projects.

Applicants for this role should possess a relevant academic qualification and be a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) or Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS), have good experience of both the Veterinary Nursing profession and working in the further/higher education sector.

This is a fixed term contract, in the first instance, for 4 years covering a vacancy created by an internal secondment.
