Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Chinese Medicine (Ref.: 502393), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree and proven experience in Molecular Pharmacology, Metabolomics, Chemical Biology and animal experiments. They should be an outstanding and self-motivated researcher with proven research track record in international publications, with a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese and the ability to work independently. The appointee is expected to be involved in various related research projects. He/She will join a multidisciplinary research group to conduct the studies on drug discovery and explore molecular mechanisms of Chinese Herbal Medicine for cancer and metabolism diseases. He/She will also carry out new drug development study, assist in laboratory research activities, and have the opportunity to collaborate with scientists from HKU, the Mainland China and North America.
