The School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences invites applications for the position of Project Officer. The Project Officer will be assisting in the intended project “Development of New Strategies for the Synthesis of Organophosphorus Drugs Containing P-Stereogenic Centers”.
Job Responsibilities
- Preparation of phosphorus compounds for biological evaluation
- Assist in the setup of the experiments
- Assist with preparation of grant proposals and publications
- Supervise undergraduate research projects
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Chemistry from a reputable University is required
- Competency in basic programming languages such as Python and LabVIEW is required
- Strong research background
- Good communication and writing skills
- Good project management and organization skills
