Job Purpose

  • Own the production plan for the entire marketing team, aligning production outputs to key dates calendars and channel activity
  • Ensure the right resource is assigned to each project in line with business priorities, keeping to deadlines and utilising resource effectively
  • Drive efficiency and a deadline focused mindset in a fast-paced creative team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of
    • Digital Channel Designer
    • Brand Designer
    • Animator, Editor and Illustrator
  • Run weekly sprint planning meetings to ensure effective delivery of assets and projects and manage daily and ad-hoc changes and requests
  • Chase and check briefs thoroughly, ensuring all the necessary information and assets are available in advance of the briefing
  • Be the primary point of contact for the marketing team to receive and process briefs and schedule resource
  • Brief, manage and support external freelance designers, animators, copywriters and proofeaders
  • Bring a commercial mindset to project delivery by managing time and velocity appropriately
  • Manage requests for updates to website from external teams
  • Manage the production of offline materials with approved print suppliers
  • Manage print suppliers to drive value for money and produce quality outputs

Candidate Criteria

  • Experience in running production and/or account management teams in a creative agency setting
  • Impeccable organisational and project management skills, with the ability to complete multiple tasks concurrently and deliver
  • Commercially focused, results driven with analytical skills
  • Ability to respond to decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs
  • Integrity, credibility and calmness under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, quickly able to foster powerful relationships with and influence key stakeholders at all levels across the business
  • A desire to problem solve, and to challenge and be challenged
  • Ability to push for the best at all times
  • Conscientiousness and diligent
