Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine's Section of Cardiology in the Biological Sciences Division is searching for a Research Assistant Professor whose primary activity will be academic research in association with a faculty member or team. The appointee will develop his/her own research as well as contribute to research projects in the field of cardiovascular sciences and join an outstanding group of researchers who are involved in cardiovascular research. We especially welcome applicants with expertise in angiogenesis research and animal models of vascular disease including stroke. Publication record and ability to obtain extramural grants will be considered. 

Applicants must 1) have a doctoral degree or equivalent in Biological or Biomedical Sciences or related disciplines, and 2) have completed postdoctoral training prior to the start of employment.
