Research Fellow, School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering
School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Fellow.
This job aims to model and simulate the material properties of advanced materials subject to extreme conditions through high-performance computing technique, coupled with advanced machine learning algorithms.
- PhD degree in solid mechanics/computational material science, or related fields.
- Strong background in computational physics or solid/fluid mechanics, materials modeling. Machine learning preferred.
- Experience in developing source codes (C++ and/or Fortran), and in use with (V)UMAT for software package ABAQUS. Python, SCIKIT-LEARN or TENSORFLOW preferred.
