Evidence of excellence in teaching and pedagogical inquiry can be demonstrated through teaching accomplishments, grants, awards and accolades, presentations at significant conferences, the teaching dossier submitted as part of the application including a strong statement of teaching philosophy and pedagogical research interests, sample syllabi, course materials, teaching evaluations, and a demonstrated commitment to collaboration or engagement with the broader community of teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to teach core and elective courses across a range of subjects and levels within the Global Health program in Human Biology. Responsibilities include undergraduate teaching, managing and training teaching assistants, developing course materials, and curriculum development.  Dalla Lana School of Public Health (DLSPH) teaching will include a global health course for senior undergraduate and graduate students. Additional DLSPH responsibilities will include the development of joint programming between the DLSPH and Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) such as undergraduate research project opportunities in public health and joint course offerings, facilitating the engagement of DLSPH Faculty (public health sciences and Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation) in joint DLSPH/FAS programming and establishing and maintaining good working relationships with local and global partners to facilitate new educational collaborations. In addition, the successful candidate will have some responsibility for departmental administration and may have opportunities for student supervision and mentorship. The successful candidate must also possess strong interpersonal skills, including the demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across our undergraduate courses and programs.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
