Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology/Oncology, and the Comprehensive Cancer Research Center are searching for a full-time solid tumor oncologist for appointment as an assistant professor. The appointee will have a mix of outpatient and inpatient clinical responsibilities primarily at our Hyde Park campus, and potentially at our Chicagoland area network locations. Other duties will include clinical research with an emphasis on designing and running clinical trials with translational and correlative components, and the teaching and supervision of trainees and students. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be BC/BE in Oncology.
