Hourly Rate:  £10.15 per hour

The Disability and Dyslexia Service is seeking a number of enthusiastic and committed students to join our busy team, providing support to students who are registered with the service.

The students may require assistance in some of the following areas which you may be asked to cover:

  • Notetaking in lectures and seminars (a high standard of English and clear handwriting essential)
  • Reading academic texts and books to visually impaired students (a high standard of English and clear reading voice essential)
  • Library support e.g. locating books and photocopying.

Interested applicants should be reliable, good timekeepers and excellent communicators. You will act as an important member of the team to enhance the academic achievement of your fellow students. You would be on a casual contract and your hours may be flexible depending on the timetable of the student/s you are supporting and your own timetable.
