Job Details
WeBank-NTU Joint Research Centre on FinTech invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in all aspects of the research and would therefore build expertise in the methodological, theoretical and experimental aspects of this
- Work with the PI and co-I on the proposed research
- Design and run experiments proposed under the grant
- Analyze data
- Draft presentations and reports based on the findings
- Design experiments using the zTree or Otree program
- Collect the experimental and empirical data
- Process and analyse data using Matlab and R
- Conduct literature reviews
- Edit and format research papers
- Responsible for producing 1 paper for this project independently
Job Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Economics or completing soon, behavioral and experimental economics in particular
- Knowledge of experimental economics generally, and the behavioral bias, heterogenous agents model, asset pricing and decision making in the financial market in particular
- Ability to conduct independent economic research and assume responsibility for the development and completion of research papers
- Ability to work as part of a research team, and work with other members of staff to meet the aims and deadlines of a project

The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility:
• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university.
Terms and Conditions:

• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
