1. POSITION:
University teacher: Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Full Professor for the field Microbiology (M/F)
Status: part-time (50%, 20 hours per week)
Typ of contract: permanent

2. CONDITIONS FOR THE POSITION:
- Degree: Doctor of Science in the field of microbiology
- Habilitattion for Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Full Professor for the field Microbiology
- communication skills,  innovativeness, ability to organise one's own and others' work.
- work experience
- knowledge of Slovenian and English language

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- designing and updating curricula and adapting university and higher education study programmes to specific requirements,
- organising or co-organising all course-related activities in accordance with the curriculum and the findings of the profession, coordinating the work and supervising the work of other course staff (teaching assistants, technicians, etc.),
- lecturing, conducting seminars and other pedagogical activities related to the course at undergraduate study programmes,
- directing research work and students' activities, mentoring students in preparing their graduation theses and other papers,
- performing scientific and research activities, studying and developing concepts, theories, and methods,…
