Job Details
HP-NTU Digital Manufacturing Corporate Lab (HP@NTU) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct experimental observation of melting on melt-tester equipment to investigate the mechanical and thermal behaviors of polymers under Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) 3D printing process
- Conduct experimental investigation of MJF process at micro-scale and in real-time, including materials testing and characterization
- Conduct modelling of coalescence for studying MJF
- Write technical reports and publishing relevant research results
Job Requirements:
- PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Sciences, Physics or relevant fields
- Rich experience in material science, such as material preparation and characterization, with particular in 3D printing, additive manufacturing
- Experience in 3D printing and experimental testing
- Good oral and written communication skills
- A proven record of quality journal articles publication in 3D printing, additive manufacturing

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.
The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility:
• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university.
Terms and Conditions:
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
