Job Details
The Clinical Brain Laboratory within the School of Social Sciences seeks applications for the position of Research Associate.
Job Responsibilities
- Day to day coordination of funded projects
- Preparation of ethics documents to institutional review boards
- Participant recruitment
- Data collection using multimodal neuromodulation and neurophysiological recordings, such as electroencephalography and transcranial magnetic stimulation
- Liaise with stakeholders and project collaborators
- Systems administration, including maintenance of network servers and data security
- Contribute to the production of research reports
- Perform other tasks as required by the Principal Investigators
Job Requirements
- Master degree in Cognitive Neuroscience, Engineering, Computer Science or related field from University of good standing
- Experience with neuromodulation and/or neurophysiological techniques such as; transcranial magnetic stimulation, transcranial direct-current stimulation, electroencephalography and/or functional near-infrared spectroscopy
- Good project coordination and administration skills, including data management and storage
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and able to work within given deadlines
- Self-directed learner who effectively picks up relevant skills as needed

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.
The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility:
• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university.
Terms and Conditions:

• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
