The University of the West of Scotland is an ambitious, growing university at an exciting stage in our development. We have renewed our academic and international focus and are growing our research and knowledge exchange.

An opportunity has arisen for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Health & Life Sciences, each for a period of 36 months to support the aims of the interdisciplinary NERC-funded project, part of the India-UK antimicrobial resistance initiative: ‘Advanced Metagenomics, Sensors and Photocatalysis for Antimicrobial Resistance Elimination (AMSPARE)’.

Applications are invited from candidates educated to PhD level or with equivalent experience in a similar role in a Public Health Policy research setting, ideally with demonstrable experience in investigation of regulatory policies and development of frameworks to consolidate academic, industry and government relationships.
