Job Description

The Research Specialist B provides support for analyzing smartphone data and managing its collection. Responsibilities will include managing and cleaning data, writing and editing existing code to organize and process data for analyses; assisting with statistical analyses using R and Python, checking incoming smartphone data for completeness and accuracy and processing it with available scripts, writing technical and user documentation, and communicating with other researchers to troubleshoot and problem solve as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, biostatistics, or a related quantitative field and one to three years of experience working in software development or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. A solid training in programming and data science, and proficiency in at least one of R, Python, or another scientific computing language. The applicant should have excellent written and oral communication skills and an ability to work independently.
