Working in the School of Justice Studies you will play a key role in developing the teaching, research and continuing professional development profile of Policing Studies at LJMU. This is an exciting opportunity for dynamic individuals to play a key role in the development the School which aims to have a transformative effect on efficacy of British Policing.
You will work across the University with senior staff, from a range of disciplinary backgrounds, to enhance applied research activities in the area of policing. We are seeking to appoint individuals with a PhD (or near completion) and a proven track record in producing high quality research and/or high quality publications. We are particularly keen for applications from individuals with an interest in with an interest in Forensic Psychology, Criminal law or Cyber Crime. You will also contribute to the development and positioning of our growing portfolio of police studies and security studies programmes.
You should be able to evidence an appropriate level of experience and a commitment to excellence in research and teaching.
