- Salary range: $117,998 - $122,072 per annum plus up to 17% superannuation
About the Job
This position will proactively manage cyber security risks to the University’s comprehensive IT infrastructure, and implement robust mechanisms to prevent security breaches, computer viruses, or cyber-criminal attacks from occurring. You will provide expert advice on the detection, response to and recovery from cyber security incidents, and will also provide leadership to the IT security team to ensure effective operation and service delivery to the University community.
Skills and Experience
Tertiary qualifications in information technology or a related field is essential, along with extensive knowledge, skills and experience relevant to cyber security. You will also have demonstrable experience in the development and implementation of cyber security strategies, and a proven track record in the effective management of a cyber security team within a large IT environment.
You will have exceptional analytical ability and strong communication skills to deliver high quality reports and informed recommendations to senior staff, as well as highly developed organisational and problem solving skills to balance competing demands and meet project milestones.
