The Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities (JSLH) at O.P. Jindal Global University seeks TWO (2) qualified Assistant / Associate Professors – Psychology in the following areas-

Clinical / Developmental Psychology

Start: November 2020

Specialty: Clinical Psychology; Developmental Psychology

Social / Inter-cultural Psychology

Start: November 2020

Specialty: Social Psychology – Inter-cultural Psychology

Type: Full Time

We are looking for two (2) qualified candidate to join us for teaching undergraduate courses in the above mentioned areas, as well as higher level seminar courses on different topics of interest.

We also expect the candidate to oversee internship programs and direct undergraduate research thesis. The candidate will also be expected to have a scholarly research program in his/her field of expertise that could involve undergraduate students. We are especially interested in candidates who have demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching and scholarship, commitment to undergraduate education, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with an increasingly diverse array of students and colleagues.

The successful candidate will value collegiality and service to their department/institution along with the demonstrated capacity to teach undergraduate courses. At JSLH, we value interdisciplinary approach and experiential learning, and therefore, we expect the successful candidate to have strong inclination towards these.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Ph.D. in Psychology with teaching experience is required to be eligible to apply for this position.
  • Ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship or achievement.
