Energy Research Institute @ NTU invites applicants for the position of Research Fellow
Job Description:
- Ability to conduct given projects with high degree of independence
- Ability to develop/synthesize new molecules and materials
- Research background of recycling of wastes, especially if using hydrometallurgy is a plus
- Expertise in physical chemistry is a plus
- Regular reports and good documentation of work are expected
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are absolutely key
Job requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and Material Science.
- Candidate must have strong backgrounds on chemical process.
- Candidate must be familiar with spectroscopic studies.
- Candidate must have good record of publications and IPs.
- Candidate must show capacity to self-motivate

About Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF)
The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.
The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility:
• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university.
Terms and Conditions:
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
