Appointment will made at either Lecturer or Senior Lecturer dependent on the successful applicant’s research and teaching experience. Please indicate on your application the level for which you wish to be considered.
The Lecturer will, under routine to general supervision, contribute to quality research and/or evaluation endeavours and the planning and delivery of topics within the suite of undergraduate and/or postgraduate topics/courses in Business (Marketing) in the College of Business, Government and Law, including digital marketing. This includes the development of teaching materials, delivery of lectures/tutorials or other innovative teaching and learning strategies, examinations and placement education. The incumbent will also contribute to strengthening existing partnerships or exploring new partnerships with external stakeholders that have potential for providing improved teaching, learning and/or research outcomes for the University, and supervising HDR students.
The Senior Lecturer will be a key member of the academic staff in the discipline of Business (Marketing), with preference to digital marketing, in the College of Business, Government and Law. In addition to contributing to quality research endeavours, the incumbent will, under general supervision, provide leadership and contribute to the planning and delivery of topics, including development of teaching materials, delivery of lectures/tutorials or other innovative teaching and learning strategies, examinations and may be involved in placement education. The incumbent will also supervise HDR students.
The incumbent may also be involved in teaching across other courses in the College or other Colleges, where appropriate.
The incumbent will be involved in strengthening existing partnerships or exploring new partnerships with external stakeholders that have potential for providing improved teaching, learning and/or research outcomes for the University.
Please note: Pursuant to Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016 (SA) this position has been deemed prescribed. It is an inherent requirement of the position that the successful candidate maintains a current Working With Children Check which is satisfactory to the University.
A valid National Police Certificate which is satisfactory to the University will also be required before the successful applicant can commence in this position.
