The Department of Sociology has an occasional need for Lecturers to teach precepts (sections) in areas such as methods, theory, race and ethnicity, migration, gender, organizations, and regional studies. Responsibilities include leading discussions, attending course lectures, meeting with the course instructor, holding office hours, and grading student exams and papers. Appointment duty time will be subject to enrollments, and appointments may be available for either semester during the 2020-2021 academic year.
Advanced degree in Sociology or related field required; PhD or enrollment in a doctoral program preferred.
Prior teaching experience at the college or university level
