POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, Plasma Science and Fusion Center (PSFC), to design quantum algorithms (with a numerical or analytical characterization of their performance) for solving plasma physics and fusion-relevant problems on fault-tolerant or near-term quantum platforms.  Will work closely with and under the supervision of professors Loureiro and Cappelaro (MIT) and Dr. Hari Krovi (BBN) and collaborate and assist the supervision of graduate students involved in the project. Will be hosted by the Plasma Science and Fusion Center.  

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: a Ph.D.  in quantum computing and knowledge of quantum algorithms or theoretical plasma physics.  Job #18835
