Associate or Full Professor, Tenure Track, Pediatric Oncology- Protein Systems
The Division of Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the tenure track. Applicants must have an M.D and/or Ph.D or equivalent degree. Board certified/eligible in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching residents, post-doctoral fellows, graduate students and medical students.
Clinical responsibilities may include serving as a member of the Pediatric Oncology program.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include studying the organization of cancer cells and developing rational therapeutic approaches. This can include studies of the mechanisms of cell plasticity as they relate to cancer cell signaling, control of gene expression, genome rearrangements, and response and resistance to targeted therapies. The successful applicant will be academically productive, collaborative, and able to expand our already robust research enterprise. The position will be supported by a generous start up package.
