Position Summary:

Please note that appointment will made at either Senior Project Officer, Academic Level C or Project Officer, Academic Level B. Please ensure to indicate in your suitability statement the level for which you wish to be considered.

The Senior Project Officer/ Project Officer will provide project and administrative support to ensure successful outcomes for the Remote Primary Health Care Manuals project. This project is coordinating the ongoing revision and publication of new editions (paper-based and electronic) of the CARPA Standard Treatment Manual, the Minymaku Kutju Tjukurpa Women’s Business Manual, the Clinical Procedures Manual for remote and rural practice, the Medicines Book for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners, and the Reference Book for the Remote Primary Health Care Manuals.

Northern Territory Government legislation (the Care and Protection of Children Act 2007) now requires all individuals in child related employment or whose duties involve, or are likely to involve, contact with a child, to hold a valid ‘Working with Children Clearance’ (Ochre Card). This position involves child related work and is assessed as requiring a Working with Children Clearance/Ochre Card.

A valid National Police Certificate which is satisfactory to the University will also be required before the successful applicant can commence in this position.
