Description
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Candidates should be board certified in cardiovascular disease; abcl certification in clinical lipidology is preferred.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, medical residents and fellows participating in cardiovascular research programs.

Clinical responsibilities may include establishing an outpatient practice focused on evaluation of and reducing cardiovascular risk, including complex lipid management. Selected candidates will attend on the inpatient cardiology consult service and/or cardiac care unit at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include participation in our research programs in cardiovascular risk reduction. Scholarship is required in the clinician educator track.
