Description
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of critical care cardiology. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Candidate should be board certified/eligible in cardiovascular medicine and board certified/eligible in critical care.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical residents, Cardiovascular Medicine fellows and Cardiovascular Critical Care fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include attending in the CCU and attending on the inpatient services at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Selected candidates will care for patients with a broad range of critical illnesses including coronary artery disease, arrhythmias and heart failure.

The academic clinician track requires 100 credits of active and high quality teaching responsibilities. There will be an expectation of the ability of the candidate to provide management and/or leadership. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
