The successful candidate will be an internationally recognized clinician-scientist or scientist with an established research program focused on neurosurgery, or related conditions including leading edge minimally invasive neurosurgery therapies, clinical trials in neurosurgery and quality assurance outcomes related research.  Applicants must already hold an academic appointment that should be at the rank of Associate or Full Professor at the University of Toronto and be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. The endowed chair will support academic activities of the chairholder, which may include salary support, research operations, and relevant educational events.

Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae (Web CV or Common CV), a 2-page outline of their academic program (including research productivity, training activities and academic prominence), and a 1 to 2-page description of how the endowment would be used.
