The Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Research Associate positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years).

Responsibilities may include collaborating and contributing with the team in Dr. Ben Stanger's laboratory.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree. The successful applicant will have an opportunity to work on research in the field of Gastroenterology with funding provided by a sponsored program.

Candidates will have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research. The preferred candidates will have opportunities to prepare and submit manuscripts, write grants and will be mentored by Dr. Ben Stanger to develop independent research in GI cancers.
