The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of thoracic oncology and/or other solid tumor oncology.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include care of oncology patients. Expertise in thoracic oncology is preferred and expertise in other solid tumor oncology is welcomed.
Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board certification in Hematology and Oncology is required.
Leadership responsibilities will include coordinating and integrating the core mission areas with the Abramson Cancer Center and the Cancer Center Service Line across the breadth of Penn Medicine. Candidates should have strong administrative, clinical and teaching skills and a commitment to the broad mission of the Hematology-Oncology Division fostering outstanding clinical operations, program development, and coordination across practice locations. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits of active and high quality teaching responsibilities. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
