Associate and Full Professor in Hematological Malignancies/Leukemia
The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate and Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of leukemia with an emphasis on Myelodysplastic Syndrome. Applicants must demonstrate excellent qualifications in education, research and clinical care. Strong leadership skills are required.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, housestaff and fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include nationally recognized excellence in the care of leukemia patients with an emphasis on Myelodysplastic Syndrome.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include the ability to deliver high quality care implementation of leukemia clinical pathways as well as participation in clinical trials. There is an expectation that clinical trial results will lead to scholarship. Successful candidates will be part of a growing clinical program.
Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board certification in Hematology and/or Oncology is required.
