Description
The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of non-malignant hematology. Applicants must demonstrate excellent qualifications in education, research and clinical care in this area.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, housestaff and fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients with sickle cell disease, disorders of hemostasis and thrombosis, and general benign hematologic conditions.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include excellent qualifications in clinical research in non-malignant hematology. High quality clinical trials which lead to scholarship are required in this position. Successful candidates will be part of a growing clinical research program.

Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board certification in Hematology is required.
