Associate/Full Professor, AC Track – Sleep Center

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Pulmonary Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Associate and or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of pediatric sleep medicine with a focus on general pediatric sleep or pediatric pulmonary medicine. Applicants with certification in child and adolescent neurology, child psychiatry or other relevant areas will also be considered.

Teaching responsibilities may include the teaching of medical students from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine as well as residents and fellows from the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Teaching can take place in a variety of settings such as lecturing, small group, clinical and/or didactic sessions.

Clinical responsibilities may include a focus on sleep medicine.

Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Sleep Medicine.

The Sleep Center is an interdisciplinary program that includes sleep physicians in pediatricians, pediatric pulmonology, child neurology and child psychiatry as well as behavioral psychologists, nurse practitioners, research coordinators, nurses, respiratory and sleep technologists. The pediatric sleep clinic and sleep lab each evaluate over 3,000 patients per year. There is a 14-bed sleep lab, and an active NIH-funded research program.
