Description
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Teaching responsibilities may include resident and fellow education in Foot & Ankle Surgery.

Clinical responsibilities may include clinical services in the Health System Hospitals.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include collaborating on Foot and Ankle research with the McKay laboratory.

Applicants must have an M.D. or a M.D./Ph.D degree.

Additional responsibilities will include leadership of the Foot and Ankle Division of the Orthopaedics Department across all three missions: Clinical, Education, and Research. This involves accountability for productivity in all three areas and for positively impacting growth in each domain. The successful candidate will grow and mentor the Foot and Ankle faculty within the division, including participation and collaboration in the Musculoskeletal and Rheumatology Service Line efforts to improve patient care, and collaboration with other leaders in the Department, Service Line, Hospital, VA and Health System to improve the division.
