Student Services are seeking a Student Budgeting Advisor to develop and deliver a student budgeting and financial advisory and support service to prospective and current students, to increase the access, retention and success of all students, particularly those identified as experiencing complex intersectional socio-economic disadvantage at Maynooth University. Reporting to the Student Support Officer or nominee, the person appointed will have a proven ability to build relationships, to work with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to develop and deliver one-to-one advisory supports, and will have experience of handling confidential and sensitive discussions professionally. Applicants for the post will have excellent communication, IT, and organisational skills. The person appointed will have demonstrated their ability to use initiative, and will have demonstrated excellent attention to detail and accuracy in their output.
Administrative Officer II Salary Scale: €37,976 - €54,647 per annum (9 points)
Appointment will be made in accordance with the Department of Finance pay guidelines.
*New entrants to the public sector will be appointed on the first point of the above scale.
