Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Neurology is searching for a full-time Multiple Sclerosis faculty member at any rank. Clinical research experience is desirable. The appointee may also be eligible for leadership opportunities in the department. Academic rank and compensation, which includes a generous package of fringe benefits, are dependent upon qualifications.

The appointee will join a growing neurosciences service line, which includes the opportunity to practice at University of Chicago’s expanding clinical locations both in and outside of our main campus in Hyde Park. The appointee will participate in clinical, educational and research activities; including outpatient clinic, inpatient service and involvement with fellow, resident and medical student education. The Multiple Sclerosis Center at the University of Chicago has a long history in established research and patient care. Our multidisciplinary team collaborates to determine the best treatment for each individual patient.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) have completed a residency program in neurology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, 3) board certified or eligible in neurology, and 4) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois. Assessment of applications will consider training in Multiple Sclerosis.
