About this Opportunity

We are seeking to appoint a talented researcher in Translational Neuroimaging to join the myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) neuroimaging research program. This position is supported by a recently awarded NHMRC Ideas Grant. The ME/CFS neuroimaging research program combine advanced multimodal neuroimaging techniques with machine learning to understand neurological disease process and to develop a Neuromarker for objective diagnosis of ME/CFS. The SCMNTI integrates research, teaching, and clinic service as a unified model. The 2018 ARC Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) outcomes rated Neuroscience at USC as 5 (well above world standard), which was primarily attributed to the SCMNTI.

To be appointed in this role you must have completed a relevant doctoral qualification (or near completion) and demonstrate quality research experience such as in refereed publications, participation in research teams and sound knowledge of research methodologies relevant to the discipline/field.
