The Liverpool Screen School seeks a highly motivated individual to lead the Media Production department, which includes the following programmes of study: BA (Hons) Media Production, MA Documentary, MA Immersive Arts and MA Creative Technology.
This is an exciting time to join the department, as Liverpool, already the most filmed in city in the UK outside of London, becomes home to Twickenham Studios, who are set to open a new development of production facilities and film stages at the iconic Littlewoods Building.
This will bring opportunities for the Screen school and our students.

The Liverpool Screen School, part of LJMU's Faculty of Arts, Professional and Social Studies, offers undergraduate and post graduate programmes in the departments of: Creative Writing, Drama, Film Studies, Journalism and Media Production.
The post holder will provide strategic leadership and line management for the Media Production department and take a leading academic role on the school management team.

Reporting to the Subject Leader, you will lead these developments in the Media Production team, whilst also undertaking teaching, programme management and administrative duties across the Media Production portfolio (BA (Hons) Media Production, MA Documentary, MA Immersive Arts and MA Creative Technology).
Current areas of industry practice / research interests in the department include: Television Drama, Documentary, Interactive Media, new approaches to narrative, 360 filming, Participatory Culture, Multiplatform, Creative Technology and Immersive Arts
