Full-Time, Fixed Term (10 Months)

Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Fellow in Creative Writing: Playwriting/ Screenwriting in the Department of English.

The successful candidate will join a team of prize-winning writers in the department, including seven Fellows of the Royal Society of Literature.

You will have a national profile as an author with a track record of writing for stage and/or screen, and experience of teaching creative writing at undergraduate level. You will have demonstrated the ability to work with others in teaching and/or administration.

Candidates will be expected to provide teaching in creative writing at BA levels, with an emphasis on playwriting and screenwriting, to foster the work of students seeking publication, and to contribute to co-curricular enrichment activities.
