The School of Computer Science pursues a blend of fundamental, applied, and interdisciplinary research and has particular strengths in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics and Autonomous Systems, and Human-Computer Interaction. 

The School of Computer Science seeks to appoint a permanent Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, with established research expertise within the areas of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and related applications  with a vision to contribute to  The Machine Learning (mlearn) Research Group research and development. You should be able to demonstrate an excellent track record in this research field. Besides, you are expected to contribute to the School's teaching activities in Parallel Programming and/or Physics Simulation modules, and to develop your own research portfolio, which includes; acquiring external funding, supervising postdoctoral researchers and PhD students, publishing in the highest quality journals and conferences, contributing to real-world applications with positive impacts on the wider society and economy, and conducting, directing and supervising research in line with the targets set by the School.
