Job Details
School of Computer Science and Engineering invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the Proposals for Industry Alignment Fund-Pre-positioning Programme/Industry Collaboration Project (IAF-PP/ICP)
- Perform analyses of MRO datasets
- Arrange meetings with the members of the project including organize appropriate meeting rooms and any refreshments, contact the attendees
- Identify risks that could affect the progression of the project
- Conduct research experiments on the analysis of large-scale genomic data
- Write the text and document, project report and papers
Job Requirements:
- A PhD Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics
- Strong programing skills and hand-on experience on analyzing large-scale genomic data
- Experience with building web interfaces and databases or strong mathematical analytics background is required
- Good writing and communication skills
- Strong research background and a proven track record of publications

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.
The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility:
• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university.
Terms and Conditions:
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
