Senior Lecturer / Lecturer I / Lecturer II  (PR0037/20-21)

The School of Chinese Medicine has established since 1999 and offered comprehensive education programs in Chinese Medicine (CM), including both undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy in Chinese Medicine. The School is engaged in a wide range of research projects; provides Chinese Medicine healthcare services to the community; and seeks to foster modernization of the Chinese Medicine profession and advance Chinese Medicine as a modern science.

To keep abreast of the fast development of the School and to cater for the needs arising from teaching and research, the School offers the following teaching position and would like to invite applications from dynamic and seasoned scholars with outstanding academic background and extensive research experience in Chinese Medicine.

The appointee is expected to teach the major subjects within CM Classic – Canon (“HuangDiNeiJing”), and/or Golden Chamber (“JinGuiYaoLue”), and/or Science of Seasonal Febrile Diseases, as well as to teach two or three of the following subjects: Fundamental Theories of CM, History of CM, Ancient Chinese Medical Prose, and Chinese Medicinal Formulae. In addition, the appointee is required to supervise students’ research projects and internship at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, conduct clinical practice, and participate in the development of the School as a whole.

Applicants should possess a Doctorate in CM or relevant disciplines with at least 5 years’ working experience in teaching, research and clinical work in higher education institution in CM.  Good communication skills in English, Putonghua and Cantonese are highly desirable. 

Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Rank and Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

中醫藥學院教學科研部

香港浸會大學於1999年創辦中醫藥學院，提供多項全日制及兼讀制本科及研究生中醫藥學位課程，同時進行中醫藥的基礎、臨床研究和臨床教學以及提供優質的醫療服務。為配合本學院的教學科研的快速發展，現招聘以下講師職位。

高級講師 / 一級講師 / 二級講師  (PR0037/20-21)

應徵者將負責中醫藥課程的教學和本科生及授課式研究生之科研課題的指導、畢業實習及承擔一定的行政工作。任教科目包括主講中醫經典《黃帝內經》及/或《金匱要略》及/或《溫病學》，及兼講下列其中兩至三項中醫課程：中醫基礎理論、中國醫學史、醫古文和方劑學。

應徵者須持有中醫學及相關學科的博士學位，並具備5年或以上中醫藥教學、臨床及科研工作的經驗。應徵者須操流利粵語和普通話，並具備良好的英語溝通能力。

合約為期兩年。約滿後，經雙方同意及校方撥款情況許可下，可考慮繼續聘任。

薪酬及職級將按資歷及有關工作經驗而定。
