Dementia Training Australia (DTA)
- Help make a real difference to people living with dementia
- Level 7, part-time (0.4 FTE / 2 days per week) appointment on a fixed term basis to May 2021
- Salary range: $88,560 to $101,319 pro rata plus 9.5% superannuation

About Dementia Training Australia
Dementia Training Australia (DTA) is a collaboration between four Australian universities and Dementia Australia, led by the University of Wollongong. We act as a key linkage between research and industry by translating contemporary knowledge on dementia care by delivering training to the aged care workforce.
About the opportunity
You will facilitate the development and delivery of DTA’s training and resources with a particular emphasis on medication management activities. DTA’s Medication Management Consultancy assists residential care providers to ensure their use of antipsychotic medications aligns with recommended practices in line with the new Aged Care Quality Standards.
About you
You will have a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate pharmacy degree (or equivalent competency) with sound knowledge of medication management, particularly development and delivery of related training. Those with experience working in a multidisciplinary health professional team within an aged care environment are highly encouraged to apply.
