Job Requirements

PHYSICIAN, URGENT CAREMIT Medical, to provide direct patient care.  Will assess a patient’s health status through interview and physical exam and synthesize this clinical information to formulate a health status, diagnosis, develop a plan of care and treatment, implement the treatment plan, and evaluate follow up strategies according to age-specific plans of care.  This work will be done in accordance with MIT Medical policies as well as state and federal rules, regulations, and standards of care.  Will also provide health education, supportive counseling, and clinical outreach to the MIT community in collaboration with other individuals or services at MIT Medical and across the MIT community.  

REQUIRED:  MD or DO from an accredited medical school; completion of family medicine or emergency medicine residency program with an accredited U.S. institution.; board certification or board eligibility in family or emergency medicine; current provider card in basic life support (BLS) (advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) preferred); a MA license, MA CSR, and federal DEA; and experience with computer systems, including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications, e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access.  Job #18868-14
