Applications are invited for the post of International Student Recruitment Officer in the International Student Recruitment team (ISR) within the Directorate of Marketing and Communications.
Based on a beautiful campus in Egham, over 20% of the Royal Holloway student cohort is from overseas. The role of ISR Officer is of crucial importance to the continued success of the College’s international focus through working as part of a team to ensure the effective promotion of the institution overseas.
Reporting to one of the Regional Managers in the ISR team, the role holder will take part in student recruitment and marketing activities in international markets for Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes at Royal Holloway for the South East Asian region. You may also occasionally be asked to support other regions. You will work with colleagues within the ISR to maximise the number of applications and support the conversion of those applicants to enrolled students. In addition, the role holder will be responsible for managing in-coming enquiries, organising on-campus visits and events, and producing data analysis whilst ensuring excellent customer service is given to all stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be educated to at least degree level ideally with experience working in Higher Education student recruitment or marketing. You will need to be an excellent communicator and be able to establish effective relationships both internally and externally to the College. You will need strong organisation and problem solving skills and have experience in creating and managing digital content. A second language and experience of working overseas would be also be an advantage.
