Job Details

One Project Officer position (Part-Time) is currently available in the School of Physical & Mathematical Sciences, NTU.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in research activities such as data management and analysis of spectroscopic measurements
  • Assist in research findings such as literature review, project reports
  • Assist in small research project in quantum technology
  • Organize research efforts and collaborations between teams in the Quantum hub, industrial partners and government agencies
  • Coordinate research outreach efforts
  • Organize and manage research visit from external partners 
  • Provide support to Nanyang Quantum Hub Principal Investigators in daily activities, support also includes but not limited to procurements, travel arrangement  
  • Any ad hoc duties assigned

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or Sciences degree preferred) 
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both as a team-member among multiple stakeholders and as an individual

About Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF)

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.

The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility: 

• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university. 

Terms and Conditions: 
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.  
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
