Director, Advancement and Alumni
ACU is seeking a committed and progressive professional, capable of driving an ambitious Advancement and Alumni Strategy for the University. The Strategy aims to significantly lift major gift giving efforts and impact, strengthen relationships with our donors and create new types of partnering opportunities for Alumni in line with ACU’s strategic plan priorities.
Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education and Innovation (currently Acting Provost), you will lead a geographically dispersed national team (encompassing Alumni Relations, Donor Relationships and Advancement Services). The Team is involved in developing relationships and partnerships with alumni, donors, Catholic stakeholders, charities and organisations aligned with the ACU Mission with philanthropic efforts directed to support students, teaching and research, capital projects and community engagement outcomes.
To be successful, you will have postgraduate tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent relevant experience in leading, developing, managing and embedding major advancement and alumni strategies and related frameworks and programs within the higher education sector. As a highly skilled communicator and relationship manager, key to your success will be your ability to influence internal and senior executive leads of the University and external stakeholders including donors, alumni, sponsors, community organisations and business partners.
This important leadership position will be offered on a full time, fixed term basis for a period of up to five (5) years, renewable based on performance and formal review.
