Position Summary:

The Flinders University Discipline of Public Health is recognised for expertise in public health research and teaching and members of this team have recently been awarded a 3-year Cancer Australia grant to investigate the cost-effectiveness of two resilience interventions that have been tailored to assist smoking cessation in low socio-economic areas of Adelaide.

The Academic Research Level B position will be responsible for project managing a Randomised Control Trial that will require skills in both quantitative and qualitative research methods, as well as experience with project managing randomised control trials. A knowledge of the resilience and/or smoking cessation literature is essential. The successful applicant will need to be highly organised and be able to liaise between the research team and stakeholders.

A valid National Police Certificate which is satisfactory to the University will also be required before the successful applicant can commence in this position.
