The Student Wellbeing Service at the University of Greenwich is looking for an experienced Student Wellbeing Services Coordinator (Mental Health & Wellbeing), to support the implementation of the University’s ambitious Health and Wellbeing Strategy. We are looking for a professionally qualified practitioner who has extensive experience in one or more of the fields of Mental Health, Social Work and/or Clinical Psychology. This is a new role and therefore the successful candidate will be a self starter with experience of developing and delivering a specialist Health and Wellbeing support service for students who have a range of Mental Health support needs.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will bring excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work within our dynamic multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in supporting adults who experience mental health and wellbeing difficulties in a Higher Education setting. You will have experience in developing an effective triage service as part of an established mental health and counselling team.

Our aim is to take a proactive approach to student mental health and wellbeing and the successful candidate will demonstrate their knowledge and ability to utilise a range of interventions to ensure that students have access to good quality support. This will include undertaking outreach work to develop effective Partnerships.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, adaptable with the ability to manage a high case load at peak times. You will have a commitment to following professional guidelines and a commitment to continued professional development, in line with the changing needs of students and the service.

The successful candidate will be required to attend Open Day and Student Recruitment events outside of normal office hours, as part of a team rota.
